OMG, what a long title. I’m sorry! I couldn’t think up a shorter one! Eh, whatever, onto the taaaaaaaaaaag!

BOOKS I WANT TO READ BUT DON’T WANT TO READ TAG LOGO!

So…no rules? Okay…

I’m assuming that this is a different kind of tag, and that I just do the questions that Angelica did…correct me if I’m wrong….onto the questions…

A BOOK THAT YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO READ BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS TALKING ABOUT IT:

Um, honestly I’ve never done anything like that. I’ve never read a book because everyone was talking about it. Actually, I did it once…when my sister was reading this super huge book called

Eragon, by Christopher Paolini.

(it was literally two inches thick with kinda tiny print), and she kept talking about it with my brother…and I felt like I needed to talk about it too… Lol, so I read it and ended up reading the whole massive series.

A BOOK THAT’S REALLY LONG:

Keeper Of The Lost Cities: Nightfall BY SHANNON MESSENGER.

(also about two inches thick, except with a bit bigger print), by Shannon Messenger, my favorite author of all time. I had no problem reading this book, because:

1. It was really cool and fun to read it.
2. It was the book in the middle of the greatest series on earth, therefore I had to read it to figure out what was going to happen.

A BOOK THAT YOU’VE OWNED/HAD ON YOUR TBR FOR TOO LONG:

Something I just have to say: I’m pretty sure TBR means To Be Read, right? Correct me if I’m wrong. Onto the question.

iNHERITANCE BY CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI.

Its about 847 pages long, and it the hugest most massive ginormous book I’ve ever encountered. I have not gotten around to reading it, being caught up with all of these other series, but I’m going to read it….someday….

A BOOK THAT IS ‘REQUIRED’ READING
(EG, SCHOOL TEXT, REALLY POPULAR CLASSIC – SOMETHING YOU FEEL OBLIGATED TO READ!):

mACBETH BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE.

I have to read it for my 7th grade English, but from what I’ve picked up from the movie and book covers, its a medival horrer story. Also, its Shakespeare. I picked up a Shakespeare story for fun once, and it was almost like it was in a different language. *sigh* But its for school, so I HAVE to read it…

A BOOK THAT INTIMIDATES YOU:

SHerlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Again, this is a required school book, but have you seen how long it is? Or the kind of book it is? A MYSTERY BOOK. The only mystery books I’ve been able to get through is Nancy Drew (yuck, looking back on her books now, I hate them) and Murder on the Orient Express, which wasn’t that scary and I skipped most of it.

A BOOK THAT YOU THINK MIGHT BE SLOW:

JANE EYRE BY CHARLOTTE BRONTE.

I’ve been wanting to read it but it sounds like a Jane Austen novel, one that has a massive amount of dialoge. I really like Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, so I’m not totally against Jane Austen, its just during her books you really have to pay attention to who is talking and EVERYTHING. I’ve heard Jane Eyre is really good though, so that won’t stop me.

A BOOK YOU NEED TO BE IN THE RIGHT MOOD FOR:

ANY OF THE BOOKS BY RICK RIORIDAN.

His books are awesome and hilarious, don’t get me wrong there, but sometimes there are just too many jokes. Sometimes I want a serious book, one that does not always making you snort and giggle. Also, the Lightning Thief is like a shallow series, and it really didn’t make me feel anything. Like, the KOTLC series makes me feel like I really really want to be an elf, or wonder which ability I would have, and want to just keep reading and find out what’s next. The Lightning Thief Series is not like that. Its like: “Oh, Percy is a demigod, he fights some monsters, saves the world, what’s new?”…. So….I’m not a huge fan of that series, but the Heroes of Olympus Series I really liked.

A BOOK YOU’RE UNSURE IF YOU WILL LIKE:

fAIREST, BY GAIL CARSON LEVINE.

I’ve skimmed over it once, and I want to read it again, but I’m really not sure if I’m going to like it. I really liked the concept (an ugly girl-part-gnome that gains favor by her voice, but then..i forgot) and I really really want to read it again, but I’m not sure if I’m going to last through the whole book. Gail Levine’s books are really fabulous, but its just this one I’m unsure about.
